Welcome Message

The EAST VALLEY SELPA is a vibrant, dynamic, regional, collaborative special education local planning area whose purpose is to support local school districts as they provide for the needs of special education students. The mission of the East Valley SELPA is to ensure the provision of quality education that recognizes, respects and meets the individual needs of a diverse student population in an ethical and efficient manner. In support of this commitment, we provide a well trained staff dedicated to working in partnership with schools, families and the community, helping all students become successful members of society and encouraging learning as an unlimited lifelong process. The East Valley SELPA is responsible for ensuring every eligible child receives appropriate services.

We Believe ALL people have the right to learn, grow, and change; ALL people have the right to be treated with dignity and respect; INTEGRITY & HONESTY are fundamental to the quality of life; CHILDREN are our future; EACH OF US can make a positive difference; PARENT, GUARDIAN and CARE-GIVER involvement is a valuable asset; and COLLABORATION is the key to quality special education.
